1853 : December 29. Charles Laloue married Endoxie Lambert at the city hall in Batigonolles.
Baron Haussmann was appointed prefect of the Seine with the aim of putting into place a vast new urban program for Napoléon III.

1854 : Decembre 11. Eugène Galien Laloue was born in Montmartre, son of Charles Laloue and Endoxie Lambert, residing on rue Leonie in Paris.

1855 : January 11. Eugène Galien Laloue was baptized in the parish of Montmartre.
Opening of the Exhibition in Paris, though the Palace of Industry was not completed as planned.
